Job Description

Web Operations (AEM), Assistant Manager — Digital Business
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, performance-driven Assistant Manager to own the technical build and performance of our website on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Sitting within the Web Operations digital business team, this role focuses primarily on AEM development, authoring, and page performance, working closely with the wider team on the campaign scheduling and day-to-day operations of StarHub's website (Discovery Pages) — a critical part of our digital experience that drives product awareness, campaign visibility, sales, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Website Strategy, Performance & Commercial
•    Co-own, together with the Web Ops Manager, the evolution of the StarHub.com experience to support digital sales, product awareness, and overall brand experience.
•    Work with Digital Business Lead to build best-in-class templates, page structures, and user journeys that align with strategic objectives.
•    Analyse page-level data (traffic, bounce rate, conversion) to identify what's working and what isn't.
•    Translate business goals into page structure and CTAs that support conversion.
•    Support A/B testing and personalisation initiatives and help implement winning variants.
•    Audit underperforming pages and recommend improvements.
•    Work with the Web Operations team and Digital Business Lead to recommend the best-performing, sales-driving page layouts within  the available component library.
•    Review every campaign or page post-launch and make recommendations to optimise the page based on performance insights for the next campaign.

AEM Page Build
•    Build, configure, and publish pages, components, and templates in AEM (Author/Publish).
•    Manage and execute the authoring workflow: content entry, versioning, approvals, and publishing.
•    Manage and execute AEM DAM, including organizing and tagging digital assets.
•    Partner with the AEM Product Owner and AEM developers to scope custom components, raise bugs, and run UAT.
•    Ensure all pages meet accessibility, SEO, tracking, and regulatory compliance standards prior to go-live.
•    Troubleshoot page-level issues and coordinate fixes with IT/development partners.
•    Cross-Functional Collaboration.
•    Work closely with Digital POs, Product, Marcom, Brand, SEO, UX/UI, and Tech teams to plan, prepare, and execute timely Discovery Page updates, ensuring requirements and technical feasibility are aligned.

•    Coordinate with the Web Operations team on campaign timelines and pricing/product change go-live dates, ensuring the technical build is ready in time.
•    Flag technical risks, dependencies, or conflicts on planned launches.
•    Support lead-generation initiatives by integrating forms and dynamic content where appropriate.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications
•    2–5 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, in an authoring and development capacity.
•    Prior experience in the telecommunications industry, with an understanding of plan/device pricing, promotions, and regulatory disclosures, is preferred.
•    Strong technical grounding in AEM: components, templates, content fragments, DAM, and workflows.
•    Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to troubleshoot or brief developers.
•    Understanding of web UX principles and the digital content lifecycle.
•    Proficiency with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics preferred) to interpret page-level data.
•    Experience with A/B testing and personalisation is an advantage.
•    General understanding of web operations processes, including campaign launches and content change workflows.
•    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities under deadline pressure.

Leadership & Mindset
•    A proactive self-starter, capable of managing cross-functional requests and competing priorities, and comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
•    Performance-driven, with a strong sense of ownership over website experience and outcomes.
•    Able to balance technical execution with commercial requirements.
•    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to content quality and consistency.
•    Team management experience, with the ability to guide and coach operational or functional leads, is preferred.
•    Able to anticipate challenges, manage change, and keep teams aligned through uncertainty.
•    Positive, adaptable, and resilient — comfortable in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
•    Comfortable working under pressure to meet business deadlines.
•    High ethical standards a must
