Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by overseeing and optimising all sales channels, across own stores, franchise locations, online, telesales, partners, advertising, and wholesale channels. The successful candidate will lead a sizable team to drive sales across the various channels for all of StarHub’s consumer and SME products to ensure the future growth and 
success of the organisation.

 

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Provide sales leadership
    • Define and implement effective sales strategies, ensuring alignment with StarHub’s overall objectives and revenue targets
    • Oversee the performance and operations of all sales channels and teams, as well as continuously identify and upsell opportunities 
    • Utilize data-driven insights to analyse sales performance across various channels, identifying areas for growth and optimising processes to enhance productivity
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor progress of all sales effectiveness and NPS initiatives, adjusting accordingly to the situation
    • Build and manage a high-performing team of professionals by providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive excellence in sales execution, as well as tracking employee NPS
  • Manage existing partnerships
    • Manage advertising sales, create and implement strategies to maximise revenue from advertising partnerships with external organisations
    • Oversee wholesale agreements and MVNO partnerships, ensuring strong relationships and mutually beneficial deals with partners
  • Improve experience
    • Work closely with the Customer service and operations teams to enhance the overall customer experience across all sales touchpoints and manage churn
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns and promotions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales leadership and channel management, with a track record of delivering/exceeding revenue objectives, ideally from the telecommunications industry
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and draw actionable insights
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing teams to deliver exceptional results
  • Experience in advertising sales and wholesale management, including partnerships with MVNOs, is highly desirable
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels (both internally and externally)
  • Strategic thinking with a customer-centric approach to sales and channel management
