Job Description
Job Purpose
This role will leads end-to-end delivery of platform-related initiatives from initiation through closure, aligning outcomes with business goals and enterprise standards. They act as the primary liaison across engineering, product, operations, and external vendors to drive clear, consistent communication and execution. The scope includes readiness for testing and deployment (including UAT and acceptance criteria), quality assurance and compliance (e.g., CIS hardening and audit readiness), and DC-focused tasks such as firewall setup and cluster migrations to remediate security gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of platform projects from planning through closure, with clear scope, objectives, and success metrics tied to business outcomes.
- Develop detailed technical plans covering build and migration phases, resource allocation, schedules, and task dependencies.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests to maintain project health and momentum.
- Serve as the primary liaison across engineering, product, operations, and external vendors, ensuring clear and consistent stakeholder communication.
- Conduct regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and technical reviews to maintain alignment and resolve blockers.
- Oversee platform architecture, integration strategy, and performance validation in collaboration with system architects and technical leads.
- Ensure readiness for testing and deployment phases, including UAT planning and acceptance criteria definition.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including charters, risk registers, meeting minutes, and status reports.
- Implement quality assurance processes and compliance checks (e.g., CIS hardening, audit readiness).
- Coordinate DC-focused tasks such as firewall setup and cluster migrations to close security gaps identified in the environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: at least 3 years overall in platform engineering, infrastructure delivery, or technical programs, including 2–3 years in technical project management within platform or infrastructure domains.
- Technical exposure: Hands-on familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift, Data Center networking, operations in Data Center; knowledge of telco/mobile networks is an advantage.
- Methodologies: Strong stakeholder and vendor management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; effective liaison across engineering, product, operations, and vendors.
- Soft skills: Strong learning mindset, listening skills, and ability to absorb technical details and drive practical solutions.
Preferred Certifications
- Project: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or PMI-ACP (Agile).
- IT Service Management: ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
- Network/Security: CompTIA Network and Security+ are advantageous.
