Job Description

As a Solution Architect in the Analytics Solution Team, you will partner closely with our Data Scientists—who build scalable Telco Big Data Analytics Models, design AI/ML solutions (including GenAI and LLMs), and drive innovation—to translate their prototypes into robust, production-grade data platforms. You will lead the end-to-end architecture for consumer telco data (mobile & broadband), ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage in analytic scoping workshops and stakeholder sessions, collaborating with Data Scientists who size problem statements, propose analytical approaches, and review methodologies.
• Translate ML/AI model requirements (e.g., Spark/PySpark analytics, GenAI integrations) into a scalable architecture spanning:
• On‑premise: Cloudera/HDFS, Hive, Spark pipelines
• Cloud: AWS (S3, EMR, Redshift, SageMaker)
• Design and implement performant data ingestion pipelines (batch and streaming via Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink), ETL/ELT workflows, and unit/system testing to validate model results at scale.
• Integrate and operationalize Data Scientists’ ML/AI models—ensuring automated feature pipelines, model retraining schedules, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
• Architect secure, privacy-preserving cleanroom environments for B2B data collaboration.
• Continuously review and optimize architecture to meet industry standards and evolving data volumes, providing advice on optimization and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies (e.g., new streaming frameworks, GenAI platforms), driving proof-of-concept initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 3+ years in Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, or a similar role
• Proven expertise in PySpark, Hive, HDFS, Kafka, and big data tooling
• Experience in AWS technologies: S3, EMR, Redshift, SageMaker
• Experience in designing and deploying batch and real-time data pipelines
• Experience integrating ML/AI models (including GenAI/LLMs) into production workflows
• Familiarity with CI/CD for data and ML (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate analytic requirements into architecture

• Experience with BI and Visualization (Tableau, QuickSight)
• Telco industry experience will be an advantage
