Job Description

Role Purpose

The ServiceNow Pre-Sales Consultant is a high-impact, consultative technical advisor responsible for driving revenue growth by mapping complex business challenges to ServiceNow solutions. Positioned at the intersection of sales and technology, you will act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, translating technical architecture into clear, quantifiable business value. The ideal candidate possesses deep ecosystem expertise, exceptional presentation skills, and the business acumen required to build compelling ROI narratives that accelerate the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

1. Solution Consulting & Discovery

  • Partner closely with the Enterprise Sales team to qualify opportunities and uncover prospective clients' core operational bottlenecks.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops to deeply understand client environments, maturity gaps, and technical landscapes.
  • Architect high-level ServiceNow solutions that align with the client’s strategic business outcomes and long-term digital transformation roadmaps.

2. Product Demonstrations & Proof of Concept (PoC)

  • Design, configure, and deliver tailored, high-impact product demonstrations that bring ServiceNow to life.
  • Own and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Value (PoV) engagements to technically validate solutions against strict customer success criteria.
  • Showcase modern capabilities including workflow digitization, AI Search, and Now Assist / Generative AI controllers to demonstrate immediate productivity gains.

3. Proposal Development & Solution Architecture

  • Lead the technical response for RFPs, RFIs, and complex tender documents, acting as the primary owner of the technical solution narrative.
  • Create Value Maps, TCO/ROI calculations, and outcome-centric roadmaps to justify platform investment to C-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Leads to draft clear Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring accurate scoping, estimation of effort, and risk mitigation.

4. Practice Growth & Enablement

  • Stay at the absolute cutting edge of the ServiceNow ecosystem, including new releases, product variations, and competitor positioning.
  • Build reusable pre-sales assets, such as tailored demo environments, discovery templates, and script libraries.

Qualifications

  1. At least 8 years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Advisory role specifically within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  2. In-depth hands-on knowledge of at least two major ServiceNow product lines (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, or Creator Workflows).
  3. Proven track record to shift conversations from features to business outcomes (e.g., reducing MTTR, improving employee NPS, scaling hyperautomation).
  4. Exceptional presentation skills to be able to do whiteboarding architecture with a platform developer as you will be presenting to C-suite leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) credential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience solutioning for heavily regulated industries (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, or Public Sector).
