Job Purpose

 

As the Snr Manager of AGILE Delivery, the role owner is directly responsible for delivery of projects within the scrum verticals across the various lines of business. The role purpose is the catalyst of on time and in quality delivery all products and services across mobile, broadband, tv, entertainment and digital. The Snr Manager Agile delivery works with the Agile coach and sets up the AGILE Way of Work and principles for agile based delivery models. 

Responsibilites

Drive the delivery of technology enhancements by the Agile squads
- set up and design requirements for the Agile teams, including liaising with relevant Product and Digital teams to align delivery expectations
- lead all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint review, planning meetings, and retrospectives) for full team engagement
Act as a leader for the scrum(s)
- build, grow and lead scrum teams with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities
- facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the portfolio team and with relevant stakeholders
Resource management, burndown/ROI
- plan skillset demand and burn rates, owning the delivery KPIs for each team
- drive learnings from retrospectives and deliver quantifiable improvements in ROI and cost per resource across all teams
Performance management and resource optimization
- work with multiple vendors for resource on-boarding, delivery management and continuous improvement, including SLAs and adherence to contracts

Requirements

 

  • Degree in Management / IT software related field with at least 10 years of related experience with Agile practices, leading agile projects as an Agile Coach, Product Owner, and/or Scrum Master and managing projects using agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong experience with a variety of approaches and deep, principles-based understanding of Scrum, Kanban and other frameworks
  • Experience in creating value and outcome-based operating models
  • Confidence and skill in navigating the team through roadblocks to complete sprints on time
  • Analytics and measurement knowledge required to define reporting needs, interpret data and translate into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and develop new concepts at various levels
