Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Development Project Executive to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind the planning, execution, and delivery of key software projects. You will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a solid technical background and a proven track record of managing the full project lifecycle in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
• Lead the end-to-end project management of multiple software development initiatives, from conception to deployment and post-launch support.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Agile Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners, and engineering teams to refine the product backlog and ensure user stories are well-defined and ready for development.
• Remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project communication, ensuring transparency and alignment across all stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
• Communicate project progress, risks, and key metrics clearly and effectively to both technical teams and executive leadership.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and secure their buy-in for project decisions and direction.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, RAID logs, and final project retrospectives.
Process Improvement:
• Champion the adoption of best practices in project management and software development.
• Continuously evaluate and improve team processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Contribute to the maturation of the PMO within the organization.
Procurement & Financial Administration (PR/PO)
• Initiate and manage the entire Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle.
• Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to gather necessary quotes, specifications, and justifications for procurement.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
• 4-5 years of direct experience working on Software development in Telecom or related communication technology industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Solid technical understanding of software development concepts, web technologies, and architecture such as knowledge of Java, Java Script, Python, Flask, Pandas, MySQL, Linux, Docker, HTML/CSS.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence.
• Experience of Data Engineering Tools: Apache Hive, Apache Iceberg, Spark, Database: Microsoft SQL server, PostgreSQL, Operating system: Windows, Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), and Automation tools: Ansible, Selenium (With Python), Microsoft Power Automate, UI Path
• Knowledge of Data Visualization & Monitoring: Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrable experience with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and creating Gantt charts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
