Senior Manager, Marketing Communications

This role presents an opportunity to shape the future of StarHub's success across both new consumer business ventures and the vibrant SMB sector. As a Senior Manager, you will be leading a team of marketing communications professionals and cross-functional partners to define the strategic vision and execute marketing communication strategies that will propel both new consumer business products and SMB offerings to unprecedented heights.
You will be the champion for our new business products as well as SMB offerings, developing strong awareness and differentiated positioning for StarHub across audiences. This role is for an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for innovation, and a track record of developing and executing innovative B2B and B2C marketing campaigns. You will be crafting groundbreaking marketing solutions that reach targeted audiences and deliver tangible business impact.
Job Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to increase awareness and adoption of StarHub offerings across new consumer business ventures and SMBs, aiming to exceed sales targets and promote market growth.
• Campaign Management: Plan and implement multi-channel campaigns to drive lead generation and customer acquisitions. This will include owned, earned and paid media, working closely with the Digital and Social Marketing Teams to ensure campaign efficiencies and maximise brand love.
• Content Strategy: Develop and implement a compelling content strategy. This includes creating and distributing sales enablement materials, relevant product and brand-related content such as case studies and success stories to engage current and prospective customers across owned, paid, and earned channels as appropriate.
• Event Management: Organise and manage virtual and in-person events, and trade show participation to actively engage with SMB and consumer communities.
• Website Optimisation: Manage and optimise website content to clearly communicate StarHub's value proposition to both new consumer business prospects and SMBs and support lead generation initiatives.
• Agency Management: Manage creative agency relationships to get the best work out of our partners and maximise efficiencies.
• Partnership Management: Identify and manage marketing partnerships to drive shared success and achieve business targets and goals.
• Budget Management: Manage and allocate marketing budgets to ensure the efficient use of all resources.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure alignment and progress towards shared business goals.
Qualifications
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Mass Communications, or Business Administration1.
• Professional Experience: Over 12 years of experience in marketing, with experience in both B2B/SMB and B2C marketing.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Passionate about innovation,and be able to develop marketing solutions to reach targeted audiences and drive business impact.
• Campaign Expertise: Proven expertise in developing and executing marketing campaigns, cross-functional projects, and driving results.
• Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and Creative Thinking: Demonstrable ability to think both creatively and analytically.
• Event and Content Management: Some experience with event management, content creation is preferred.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in managing multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
