Job Description
Job Purpose
The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Commercial and Large Enterprise clients by delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term account retention. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consultative sales support across StarHub’s suite of enterprise telco.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Commercial and Large Enterprise accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and high service standards.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of telecommunications and ICT solutions, including connectivity, mobility, workspace collaboration, and related enterprise services.
- Proactively manage and grow assigned accounts through regular client engagement, needs analysis, and value-based selling.
- Drive service renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise account revenue and wallet share.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Service Line teams, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Provisioning) to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high customer satisfaction, measured through NPS and other service KPIs.
- Achieve individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, including Order Book and revenue objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and forecasts in CRM systems in accordance with established SOPs.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and resolve issues effectively to maintain trust and long-term relationships.
- Comply with all internal processes, governance, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma qualification; Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Telemarketing, or B2B Account Management.
- Prior exposure to Enterprise or Commercial B2B clients is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Telecommunications, IT, or Technology services will be an added advantage.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
