Job Description

Job Purpose

The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Commercial and Large Enterprise clients by delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term account retention. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consultative sales support across StarHub’s suite of enterprise telco.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Commercial and Large Enterprise accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and high service standards.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of telecommunications and ICT solutions, including connectivity, mobility, workspace collaboration, and related enterprise services.
  • Proactively manage and grow assigned accounts through regular client engagement, needs analysis, and value-based selling.
  • Drive service renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise account revenue and wallet share.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Service Line teams, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Provisioning) to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high customer satisfaction, measured through NPS and other service KPIs.
  • Achieve individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, including Order Book and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and forecasts in CRM systems in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Handle customer escalations professionally and resolve issues effectively to maintain trust and long-term relationships.
  • Comply with all internal processes, governance, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma qualification; Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Telemarketing, or B2B Account Management.
  • Prior exposure to Enterprise or Commercial B2B clients is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Telecommunications, IT, or Technology services will be an added advantage.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
