Senior Engineer - Media, AI & Broadband Platforms

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to design, develop and support digital platforms across Media (OTT/IPTV), AI and Broadband services. The role requires strong software engineering expertise, cloud-native development experience and the ability to build secure, scalable and resilient applications. Working closely with Product, Architecture, Network and Operations teams, you will deliver solutions that improve customer experience, operational efficiency and service reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering

• Design, develop and maintain scalable applications, microservices and RESTful APIs.

• Develop secure cloud-native solutions using modern engineering practices.

• Participate in solution design, code reviews and technical governance.

• Implement automated testing, CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Media Platforms (OTT/IPTV)

• Develop and support OTT/IPTV applications and backend services.

• Integrate with CMS, DRM, CDN and subscriber management platforms.

• Improve video streaming performance and application responsiveness.

• Support Smart TV, Mobile, Web and Set-Top Box platforms.

• Monitor platform health and resolve service issues.

AI Engineering

• Develop AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, AI assistants and automation workflows.

• Integrate AI services through APIs and orchestration frameworks.

• Implement AI solutions for customer support, network operations and service assurance.

• Apply AI security, governance and responsible AI practices.

Broadband & Network Integration

• Develop applications integrating with broadband platforms and network management systems.

• Support TR-069/TR-369, CPE management and broadband telemetry.

• Analyse network data to improve diagnostics, automation and customer experience.

• Collaborate with network teams to enhance service assurance and operational performance.

Collaboration

• Work with Product, Architecture, QA and Operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.

• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

• Participate in Agile delivery, production support and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline. A Master's Degree or relevant professional certifications is an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering, application development or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, Go, Node.js or similar programming languages.
• Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications, microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with OTT/IPTV platforms, video streaming, CDN, DRM, CMS or digital media technologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, AI agents or AI orchestration frameworks is an advantage.
• Understanding of broadband technologies, networking concepts, TR-069/TR-369 and CPE management is desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in Agile teams and mentor junior engineers.
