Job Description

Purpose:
Provide planning and implementation support to 4G/5G Mobile Core nodes and Network Functions pertaining to Mobile Messaging and roaming related service support

Responsibilities:

• Planning and dimensioning of Mobile 4G and 5G messaging and roaming related Network nodes, IP nodes and cloud infrastructure
• Administrate and manage the SMS firewall system to protect the mobile network against SMS-based message attack
• Implement project work plans for network expansions, upgrades and integration tasks
• Monitor network performance and ensure proper working conditions of the Mobile messaging and roaming related elements
• Implement roaming related projects and support the development of new mobile commercial services and initiative
• Technical feasibility study or trial on new emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Appropriate qualification in Electronics/ Communications/ Networking or equivalent 
• Relevant experiences preferred though not necessary
• Good technical knowledge of Short Message Service call flows and associated protocols
• Basic knowledge of Mobile 4G and 5G network and other related portfolio such as IMS
• Basic understanding of Network and Application Securities
• Basic knowledge of API communication
• Good knowledge of IP switching and routing protocols
• Basic proficiency in programming and scripting skills
• Experiences and understanding of the SS7 protocol, Sigtran and Diameter
• Occasional work during late night maintenance window period
