Job Description

• Review and ensure revenue and direct cost are recognised in accordance with accounting standards
• Execute revenue related monthly closing activities and reconciliations and ensure proper and timely recording and accounting of revenue and its direct cost
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including the analysis and commentary on major variances
• Ensure audit schedules/reconciliations are properly prepared and timely
• Work with Product, Billing and IS teams on new product launch to ensure systems and processes are properly set up before its launch to ensure accurate revenue accounting. This includes setting of test scenarios, performing user acceptance test and updating of standard operating procedure
• Prepare accounting treatment and process papers to support revenue or cost recognition
• Assist in projects assigned
• Ensure systems and processes supporting revenue accounting and direct cost     
• Ensure proper documentation of key revenue accounting policies and processes 
• Assist internal and external audit matters during audit periods

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent with 4 – 5 years’ experience in audit and accounting
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS accounting and its application
• Preferably proficient in ERP software, MS Excel and SQL    
• Self-motivated, resourceful, inquisitive
• A good team player with strong interpersonal skills with the confidence and maturity to effectively work with different levels in the organization
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
