Job Description

Job Purpose

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales process from quotation generation through to sales order submission. This role works closely with customers, vendors, the Lead Sales Specialist, and internal post-sales teams to ensure timely coordination, accurate documentation, and smooth pipeline progression. The role also supports key account management activities and sales administration to help drive business growth and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

  • Handle the sales cycle for assigned transactions, from quotation generation to sales order raising.
  • Liaise with customers and vendors to clarify quotation details, pricing, and product or service requirements.
  • Support the Lead Sales Specialist in managing key accounts and coordinating customer requirements.
  • Perform sales administrative duties, including preparing quotations, sourcing quotations from suppliers, and maintaining pipeline tracking.
  • Liaise with post-sales teams to obtain and submit supporting documents required for order processing and service fulfilment.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, orders, pipeline status, and customer communications.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on sales activities to support customer satisfaction and order conversion.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handover and execution of customer orders.
  • Comply with internal processes, sales governance, and documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma in any field with at least 3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Telemarketing, Sales Administration, or B2B Account Support.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or commercial customers is an advantage.
  • Prior exposure to telecommunications, IT, or technology services will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Meticulous and good organisational skills.
