Job Description
Title: Sales Manager, BPO
Job Purpose
This new role is created to drive acquisition of greenfield BPO opportunities, especially in the government and enterprise space. The candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding StarHub’s customer base in a highly strategic segment, navigating complex sales cycles and shaping tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
• Identify, qualify, and acquire new BPO opportunities in the government and enterprise segments.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting, outreach, and qualification.
• Lead the full sales lifecycle — from discovery to proposal development and commercial closure.
• Develop solution-based value propositions in partnership with internal teams (e.g. Presales, Product, Legal).
• Drive stakeholder engagement across procurement, IT, and business to influence buying decisions.
• Provide accurate pipeline forecasts and meet or exceed annual sales quota.
Requirements
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the BPO sector.
• Proven track record in building and converting greenfield accounts.
• Experience navigating public sector procurement and tender processes.
• Strong understanding of regional/global BPO decision-making dynamics.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and solution-selling capability.
• Self-starter mindset with high accountability and resilience.
