Sales Specialist, Omnichannel Messaging

Job Description

Drive the adoption and revenue growth of StarHub’s Omnichannel and CPaaS solutions across Government and Enterprise sectors. Bridge the gap between communication technologies (SMS, WhatsApp, RCS) and client business goals to deliver seamless, automated, AI-supported, multi-channel customer experiences.

Accountabilities

1.    Capture new logos and grow wallet share in government and enterprise sectors.
2.    Meet or exceed the annual sales quota assigned for Omnichannel Messaging, RCS and SMS solutions. 
3.    Ensure client opportunities are commercially viable and aligned with StarHub’s revenue growth and profitability targets.
4.    Maintain accurate weekly/monthly sales forecasts.

Responsibilities

1.    Identify government and enterprise client opportunities for mass communication workflows, specifically in authentication (2FA/OTP), identity protection, fraud prevention, customer service and customer engagement.
2.    Advise clients to transform legacy (simple SMS) to modern omnichannel workflows (SMS, WhatsApp, RCS) that reduce friction and improve customer engagement.
3.    Lead the end-to-end opportunity process, including coordinating with Sales, Product, Specialist teams and StarHub vendor partners to prepare high-quality proposals and value propositions. 
4.    Drive stakeholder engagement across procurement, IT, and business to influence buying decisions.

 

Qualifications

1.    5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally with a CPaaS, MarTech or telecommunication service provider.
2.    Demonstrated success in landing S$6-8M in enterprise annual revenue from new and growth accounts.
3.    Must have closed S$1M+ contracts involving volume-based pricing models and 6-12 month buying cycles involving multi-stakeholder buy-in.
4.    Experience navigating public sector procurement and tender processes.
5.    Good understanding of regional/global CPaaS and Aggregator landscape
6.    Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and solution-selling capability.
7.    Self-starter mindset with high accountability and resilience.
