Job Description

Revenue Assurance's mission is to assist Management and business owners in assessing and containing the risk of revenue loss arising from operational inconsistencies and anomalies, errors, fraud, and other sources. The fundamental purpose of the Revenue Assurance(RA) function is to maximize revenue recognition and minimize revenue loss within the organization, reinforced through the establishment of sound processes, systems, and governance. The RA Team is part of StarHub's Finance Division.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1)    Maintain a centralized view of all RA Controls and their performance (via monthly reconciliations), including, but not limited to: 
a)    Updating RA Performance Dashboards 
b)    Maintaining an up-to-date log of all cases/issues, analysis, and database for lessons learned (findings).
c)    Review and present results with all relevant stakeholders.


2)    Lead and resolve reconciliation irregularities investigations, including:
a)    Analysis of results to identify the source of leakages
b)    Identify root cause(s) and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
c)    Drive internal stakeholders (at all levels) to develop and implement remedial actions and best practices to address these irregularities and minimize revenue leakage.


3)    Conduct annual reviews with stakeholder teams to ensure RA Controls stay relevant with the business.
4)    Update existing RA controls and performance monitoring capabilities or develop new ones in line with evolving business requirements.
5)    Perform impact analysis on new product launches and formulate/present risk mitigation strategies and actions.
6)    Lead in business process changes that affect the company's ability to identify, monitor, or collect revenue (e.g., new system implementations/upgrades, new product roll-outs, etc.) 
7)    Manage RA tools lifecycle and process documentation.


⦁    Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics with minimum of three years of related working experience in Revenue Assurance or Billing (preferably in the Telecommunications Industry).
⦁    Possesses a data analytical mind with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Preferably proficient in either Power BI, SQL, R, or Python.  
⦁    A strong and confident communicator with problem-solving and process improvement skills.
⦁    Highly organized and detailed oriented with demonstratable skills in leading, driving stakeholder engagements, consensus, and achieving outcomes.
⦁    Fast learner who works well under pressure.
⦁    Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and demonstrated sound acumen in systems applications.
⦁    PMP/ Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
