Job Description

The candidate will assume responsibility for the overall IT project management of assigned projects. Candidate will liaise with business units for status update, KPIs and deliverables, budget assigned and to call out risks & issues and manage all matters relating to the projects assigned. Candidate will need to also work closely with the vendor community to ensure accurate assessment of project risks, and adherence to project timeline.

Responsibilities
•    Monitor delivery progress to ensure timely and quality delivery of project KPIs / milestones
•    Understand business objectives/motivation and align IT solutions to support these goals
•    Work closed with both internal and external stakeholders to drive and resolve issues timely. Issues include scope creep, changes in user requirements, schedule slippage, and risks. 
•    Provide regular status reports to all stakeholders
•    Provide a single point of contact for large scale, highly technical, highly visible, sophisticated and critical business projects.
•    Manage projects from original concept through to final implementation and stabilization post production 
•    Drive and manage end-to-end delivery of software and/or engineering projects within budget, schedule and scope   
•    Review & potentially develop or pull together detailed work plans, schedules, and project estimates 
•    Identify and manage project risk and issue log through to closure

Requirements

•    Related degree with a minimum 8 years of Project Management preferably in medium to large scale projects, with at least 4 years of technical development and testing background
•    Candidate who is certified in Project Management such as CITPM/PMP with practical experience of Project management methodology is preferred
•    Have hands-on experience and good understanding of the software methodologies such as Agile and SDLC, and software configuration management
•    Possess strong technical knowledge and experience in enterprise applications
•    Candidate with related technical / Telco industry experience would have an added advantage.
•    Knowledge in technologies and application such as BSS, OSS, HR, Finance, Data Warehouse and Analytics
•    BSS Transformation or was involved in significant upgrade projects
•    Systems integration experience in complex environments involving CRM, EAI, Billing and their peripheral systems.
•    Experience in tender / RFQ / RFP processes, negotiation and contract matters preferred
•    Possess excellent communication skills to be able to manage senior management, internal business stakeholders and vendors
•    Have excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills 
•    Able to think strategically, make swift decisions and work independently
•    Is result-oriented and self-motivated to deliver in a very fast-paced environment.
•    Able to multi-task and have an eye for details
