Project Manager, Business Enablement Services

Job Purpose

The candidate will plan, organize and execute projects within a defines scope, budget, timeline / service level agreements (SLAs) depending on the nature of the project assigned.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and designing of projects and outlining the tasks involved.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor the progress of the project.
  • Track and review deliverables to ensure timely delivery and quality. 
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of a project.
  • Coordinate with team members and other project stakeholders to keep everyone on task.
  • Assist with risk management and change management on projects.
  • Manage project budgets and ensuring resources are used wisely.
  • Prepare and present to stakeholders or clients when necessary.
  • Review project documentations and ensuring that they are accurate, complete and up to date. 
  • Lead in project meetings and taking minutes.
  • Maintain good communication with all stakeholders and providing updates as necessary.
  • Assist in the resolution of any issues that may arise during the project implementations/maintenance phases and ensure that service level agreements are met.
  • Lead/coordinate/liaise with client and auditors for various audits and oversee the implementation of QMS
  • Any tasks that may be assigned during the engagement of the project

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of working experience preferably in the government sectors, telecommunications, IT, or technology fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience
  • Proven experience in both Day 1 (implementation) and Day 2 (maintenance) roles
  • Good understanding of customer/user experience, design thinking, user story mapping and digital product lifecycle management
  • Participated in full software or product development cycles, preferably using Agile Methodology with past development experience 
  • Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders 
  • Able to operate in a fast moving and dynamic environment with strict deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation and listening skill
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects

 

Added advantage if possess the following: 

Project Management related certification such as CITPM, COMIT or PMI 
Experience in Audit/Quality Management and Portfolio Management
