Job Description

Purpose:
As a Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that enables multi-cloud connectivity and Kubernetes services for our clients. 
Your expertise will contribute to the success of our cloud offerings, ensuring seamless communication, robust infrastructure, and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Kubernetes infrastructure and offering:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop Kubernetes solutions over multiple cloud environments (eg public cloud, private cloud, bare metal, etc) that cater to both internal and external customer requirements
  • Create architectural blueprints for management, operation and maintenance, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
  • Implement and optimise managed services based on the Kubernetes platform selected
• Kubernetes Centre of Excellence (CoE):
  • Work with both internal/ external users and vendors to deliver Kubernetes CoE based on the overall strategies established
  • Conduct knowledge sharing and training sessions with internal users
  • Work on best practices and frameworks for Kubernetes infrastructure usage and management
  • Support solution development with internal users based on Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Support Proof of Concept (PoC) testing
  • Regularly assess the CoE performance and adjust the strategies
• Multi- Cloud Connectivity:
  • Work closely with Enterprise team on the product offering for Multi-Cloud connectivity
  • Work with internal Network team to ensure readiness of Network infrastructure
  • Support the selection of technology vendors
  • Support PoC process and testing
  • Support the preparation of proposals for external customers
     

Qualifications

• Appropriate qualification in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent
• Relevant cloud certifications (eg AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Redhat certified architect, Certified Kubernetes administrator, etc.)
• At least 3 years in cloud engineering and Kubernetes solutions
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with different types of cloud connectivity
• Demonstrate understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
