Marketing Manager

Role Purpose
The candidate is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand presence and sales growth. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and external partners to optimize promotions, and trade communications.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Identify key opportunities for brand growth.
• Plan and execute offline/online promotional activities, including product launches, displays, and seasonal campaigns.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure effective implementation of trade marketing initiatives.
• Identify partners and develop tailored marketing plans with partners for joint campaigns/promotion.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and presence across.
• Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of trade marketing activities.
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
• Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights and market feedback.
• Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
• Track expenditures and ROI for all trade marketing activities.
• Work closely with the Sales, other Service Lines, and central marketing teams to ensure alignment on trade initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for the production of promotional materials.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client preferences.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on market analysis.
• Train and support sales teams and retail partners on trade marketing strategies and best practices.
• Develop tools and resources to enhance the effectiveness of trade marketing efforts.
Requirements
• Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant practice
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales, retail, trade marketing, or any related field
• Good knowledge of sales, and marketing organization, and business operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills (internal and external customers)
• Able to adapt to a fast pace and dynamic environment
