IT Vendor Management Lead

Description
In this position, the applicant will join the IT Partnership Management team to perform outsourcing management function. The role reports into the Assistant Vice President, IT Partnership Management within the Information Systems business unit.
The IT Partner Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to manage outsourcing risks, execute the outsourcing process, and establish on-going outsourcing governance. The role provides opportunity for direct interaction with senior management in business, IT, and vendors.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement
- Conducts stakeholder analysis; develops and maintains stakeholder matrix.
- Develops and maintains communication plan.
- Ensures the execution of planned communications with stakeholders.
Risk and compliance
- Conducts outsourcing risk assessment and due diligence, both at onboarding and throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensures inherent risks and control gaps are identified and remediated/mitigated.
- Ensures on-going monitoring and escalation of risks.
- Ensures the compliance with all regulatory as well as internal policies and guidelines; maintains documentation and records required to demonstrate compliance.
Outsourcing Project Management
- Develops and maintains outsourcing project plan.
- Coordinates project meetings and tracks action items.
- Prepares and submits project progress reports.
- Manages cross-functional project team comprising of internal and external resources.
- Acquires and upkeeps all project assets/resources.
- Plans and tracks project financials.
Sourcing and Contracting
- Conducts market scan.
- Develops RFI/RFP packages, including outsourcing contract.
- Conducts RFI/RFP processes to evaluate and select providers.
- Coordinates negotiations and due diligence with providers.
- Develops outsourcing financial case.
- Coordinates approval process and contract execution.
Transition
- Develops transition plan.
- Manages the execution of transition plan.
- Develops and manages the implementation of knowledge management plan (for transition and governance).
Outsourcing Governance
- Assists in establishing and running the Outsourcing Program Management Office.
- Coordinates governance committee meetings and tracks action items.
- Manages outsourcing contract and commercials.
- Manages outsourcing financials.
- Provides support to any internal, external, and regulatory audits on outsourcing.
- Assists in developing and running the vendor management processes for managing a multi-vendor environment.
- Must quickly attain a basic understanding of all product and service needs and must maintain knowledge of changing technologies.
- Consolidates and analyses data to compile management reports.
Requirements
- Degree in general business administration or related field
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in IT procurement or outsourcing in a regulated industry is essential.
- Experience in IT sourcing, contracting, and vendor management.
- Experience in the telecommunication/technology industry in Singapore and the associated regulations is a plus.
- Need to be results-oriented, meticulous, and resourceful; possess strong analytical ability and good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure.
