Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Senior Solution Sales Specialist for our Digital Workplace Services (DWS) Sales team in the Enterprise Business Group (EBG).

This role is focused on hunting and developing greenfield accounts for our Service Desk Outsourcing and ServiceNow-based managed services. This is a senior individual contributor quota bearing role with territory / vertical responsibility. You will partner with account managers, solution architects, product and GTM specialists, and responsible for acquiring deals through closure and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of IT services, and the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients.

  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Identify, target, develop and close opportunities in Service Desk Outsourcing and ServiceNow managed services within a defined set of prospects, territory or vertical.
  • Oversee client relationship mapping to the account team, orchestrating an opportunity strategy across a broad virtual team.
  • Develop and execute strategic account development and opportunity plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple C-suite personas (e.g., CFO, CIO, COO, CDO), key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs within the group of prospects, territory or vertical assigned.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve order book, margin and revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in IT services or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully hunting and closing new business in greenfield accounts.
  • Diploma or Tertiary degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of Service Desk Outsourcing and ServiceNow.
  • ITIL, SPIN, LAMP or ServiceNow specialization certifications a plus.
  • Resilient individual who is able to adapt to a dynamic environment. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
