ROLE OVERVIEW
The Digital Designer is a hands-on production-focused designer responsible for executing high-volume digital campaign assets across performance marketing and automated ad workflows. Responsible for product image processing and preparing all digital assets for automated ad generation through our automation platform. The role requires strong layout, typography, and compositional skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately under fast-paced production timelines. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within structured design systems while maintaining strong visual quality and brand consistency at scale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret campaign production briefs and execute digital creatives across approved template systems and format families
- Populate dynamic creative templates with campaign content including copy, pricing, product imagery, and CTA elements
- Generate digital ad variants across all required placements using the ad automation platform, understanding template logic and catching layout anomalies proactively
- Adapt and optimise assets for platform-specific specifications using Adobe Creative Suite
- Ensure layout accuracy, brand consistency, copy integrity, and technical compliance across all outputs
- Export and package final deliverables across required formats including static and animated assets
- Maintain organised asset management, naming conventions, version control, and production file structures
- Identify layout inconsistencies, formatting issues, or outputs outside approved templates and escalate when necessary
- Support scalable production workflows and contribute to operational efficiency improvements
- Undertake other duties, responsibilities, and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management, in line with evolving business and operational needs
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in digital production, graphic design, advertising production, or performance marketing creative environments
- Portfolio demonstrating strong digital campaign execution and high-volume production capability
- Experience working in fast-paced agency, in-house, or commercially driven production environments
- Experience producing creatives for sales campaigns, festive campaigns, product launches, and promotional events
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Experience adapting digital creatives across multiple placements and format requirements
- Able to work accurately within established template systems and brand guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and self-review discipline before final submission
- Experience handling multiple deliverables and timelines within fast-moving production environments
- Able to work independently while maintaining consistency and production accuracy
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
- Familiarity with ad automation and dynamic creative workflows is advantageous
- Basic motion or After Effects skills is advantageous
- Basic proficiency in AI-assisted creative tools is advantageous
- Solid understanding of digital ad specifications across social and display platforms
- Strong file management and version control discipline
