Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide legal advisory support to the business and operational functions of the StarHub Group.

• Review, draft, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements and corporate transactions, including telecommunications, ICT and media matters; network infrastructure and wholesale arrangements; technology implementation and digital transformation projects; enterprise and consumer products and services; procurement, licensing and leasing matters; cloud and managed services agreements; and strategic partnerships and other commercial initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the StarHub Group to ensure compliance with internal policies, corporate governance standards, data protection and cybersecurity requirements, and applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• LLB (Hons) degree and admission as a qualified lawyer in Singapore or another common law jurisdiction.
• 4 to 6 years of PQE
• Experience in any or a combination of the following areas of law: Commercial/ Corporate/ Telecommunications/ Media/ Information and Communication Technology/ Data Protection and Cybersecurity / Intellectual Property law
• Prior in-house experience in the info-communications, technology or media industry will be an advantage
• Some experience with data protection will be an advantage
• Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills
• Analytical, strategic thinker, pragmatic and solution oriented
• Reliable, self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently
• Responsive, articulate and with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
