Job Description

The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including analysis and commentaries on variances to Group Reporting team
• Ensure financial and statutory reports are in compliance with SFRS(I)
• Take charge of external audit matters of the company
• Review monthly tax provision and deferred tax for reporting purposes
• Take charge of annual tax return and property tax for company and attend to tax queries
• Review quarterly GST returns and monitor GST compliance with policy
• Plan and implement automation systems/workflow to improve workflow and increase efficiency
• Take charge of organisation operational limits and approvers
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or ACCA equivalent with minimum 5 years’ experience in audit and/or accounting in large Singapore organization
• Strong working knowledge of SFRS(I) accounting and reporting. 
• Self-motivated, resourceful, hands-on and meticulous
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• Experience with SAP, HFM or equivalent ERP system preferred
• Singapore listed and/or telecommunications company experience is highly valued
• Experience with implemented/streamline of workflows
