Job Description

The Program Executive is responsible for two key areas:

  • Manage internal key business improvement initiatives in StarHub Enterprise Business Group (EBG), driving projects from initial planning and execution through to closure.
  • Be the Single Point of Contact in EBG for PPMPOC system (Project & Portfolio Management – Percentage of Completion) to drive continuous improvement and manage system enhancements to meet business requirements

 

Responsibilities:

For Projects:

  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, understand the scope, deliverables, required stakeholders, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives and programs.
  • Drive key initiatives, programs, improvement and deliver as per objectives and scope.
  • Take corrective action and review how issues and risks may impact scope, schedule, quality and cost.
  • Effectively apply and enforce project standards and methodology.
  • Mitigate risks and issues.
  • Propose and implement new process improvement when required.
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Implement change management initiatives associated with the progammes.
  • Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.

 

For PPMPOC:

  • Be the Single Point of Contact for any PPMPOC issues and work with the Information Systems team to resolve the issues, including integration with other systems such as SAP.
  • Deliver process and system improvements based on user requirements.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree required, and more than 5 years of working experience in Project Management or PMO is preferred.
  • Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to take ownership and multitask in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in managing diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence all levels of stakeholders
  • Proficient on MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Attention to detail with a "roll-up-your-sleeves can-do” attitude is a must.
