Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Digital Engagement, will participate in the strategic development and operational management of the StarHub App, our primary digital service platform. This role is pivotal in aligning the App’s functionality and user experience with our company’s broader digital strategy and customer engagement goals. 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end process of feature development, from ideation and design to implementation and analysis. 
  • Actively manage the build-out of new app features, working closely with business stakeholders, marketing, UX-UI design and technical teams to ensure timely and successful execution.  
  • Directly manage feature development tasks including requirement gathering, briefing the design team, aligning with stakeholders, obtaining signoffs, composing user stories, conducting UAT and BVT test case execution, implementing content, and analysing post-launch analytics data 
  • Working with the Product Owner, to craft and implement a compelling product vision for the app, focused on innovative and practical solutions that address customer needs.  
  • Drive the App’s product roadmap with the Product owner, incorporating emerging technologies and trends to keep the platform at the competitive edge. 
  • Ensure the App’s operational integrity, monitoring daily platform usage and stability, overseeing post –deployment activities; raise incidents and follow up with IT on incidents resolution and closure as per SLA. 
  • Ensure content updates and campaign launches on the App and monitor performance for continuous improvement. 
  • Analyse App usage data from Analytics platform to identify areas for optimization, ensuring high performance and reliability, manage regular reporting as required on App and features usage 
  • Recommend feature development based on user feedback, market research, and strategic business objectives. 
  • Validate new features with end-users, ensuring that each update contributes positively to the user experience and engagement. 
  • Embrace Agile methodologies to manage the App team’s workflow, fostering an environment of rapid iteration and responsive development. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, other digital teams and IT, to align feature development with overall business strategy. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is advantageous. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital channel management, as a Digital Business Analyst and/or Product Owner, with a focus on mobile applications. 
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile technology, UX/UI design, and current industry standards.  
  • Strong project management skills, with a certification in Agile methodologies preferred. 
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and focus on delivering results. 
  • Must be capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced environment. A quick learner with an Agile mindset. 
  • Customer-centric – must be deeply committed to enhancing customer experience, prioritizing customer satisfaction in all initiatives.
