Job Description

Job Purpose

The Business Performance and Operational Excellence team is responsible for championing business process improvement, data analytics, as well as other value improvement solutions, in order to provide the efficiency leverage for EBG business to grow sustainably.

 

Responsibilities

  • Focus on overall profitability and affordability on each service line and its contribution to the Enterprise Business Group.
  • Collaborates with respective service line leaders and finance to gather and analyses financial information (e.g., board meeting, finance revenue assurance, business risk management etc.).
  • Drive the development and implementation of performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational operational efficiency goals (e.g., reduce expenses, increase revenue, reduce waivers, and maximize efficiency).
  • Tracks performance continually on a set of KPIs and identify impact of changes on operational efficiency across the service lines (e.g., trading meeting, operational reviews, regular scrums etc.).
  • Provides recommendation on business expenditure (Opex and Capex) before submission to management for approval.
  • Responsible to maintain clear and organized documentation of performance data,  trends and analysis. 
  • Deploy methods to ensure integrity of data used in performance evaluations, staying ahead of emerging challenges.

Requriements

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in business performance management with a strategic mindset, agility in responding, and strong judgement;
  • Having Telecommunications and ICT products knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellence business acumen and strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to tie strategy, product, and new changes to potential business impact.
  • Analytical skills with expertise in data visualization tools and financial modeling.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement meaningful KPIs that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in aligning financial decisions with organizational objectives.
  • Able to work independently with extensive experience working and collaborating in a diversified team in a dynamic environment.
