We are looking for a Vice President, Product Delivery, who will help the  company drive growth and accelerate transformation through implementing Digital Agile practices and lead AGILE delivery operations in the rapidly changing  environment to enable rapid time to market and by converting traditional business to digital ones through Digital Channels development together with New Business development and growth.

The role leads the delivery excellence for company’s CBG (Consumer Business Group) division and embeds AGILE principles and methodology at the core of its operations, drives core business verticals and as well digital care, sales and marketing and partnerships to make company’s CBG, a Digital practices leader the market.

The VP offers strategic and technological thought leadership an expertise on digital transformation , ultimately ensuring the company becomes the best digital brand in the country.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Owns the Digital and AGILE transformation strategy and drive execution 

 

  • End to end responsibility of a comprehensive new business, digital and agile delivery strategy and design 
  • Woks with Executive management team to define the CBG new business, digital and agile transformation strategy 
  • Delivering CBG products in an AGILE manner through sprints 
  • Lead and manage scrum masters and delivery teams – for Prepaid, Postpaid, HBB, TV and CVM
  • Liaise and align with digital on delivery of products end to end on digital platforms
  • New business development for new opportunities through partnerships 
  • Develops business plans and annual budgets / plans for Digital / New Business and Agile Factory
  • Charter  future division strategies as needed and provide appropriate and timely direction to the cross functional teams 

 

Commercialization of strategy and delivery

 

  • Manage the development teams to deliver within time and budget 
  • Working with product owners to prioritize backlog and manage budget
  • Structure sprint led delivery for workstreams based on product owner priorities and deliverables 
  • Deliver defect free products with integrated testing within sprint planning
  • Work with IS architects for optimal IT delivery on products for efficient delivery in products across the work streams 
  • Implementing AGILE best practices for delivery management 
  • Implementing AGILE tools for reporting and dashboarding 
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies including planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance under the PPM program including rewards recognition and working on improvement plans
  • Oversee the team for day to day operations, maintenance, and performance measurement of the CBG unit deliverables  

 

Risk Management

 

  • Identify strategy execution and impediments (risks, issues and market changes) and support resolution / creation of mitigation plans 
  • Ensure audit and legal requirements are met and fulfilled 
  • Ensure compliance with process requirements and governance 
  • Ensure Digital AGILE RACI process adherence and proper gate wise processes followed in order to avoid issues from non-compliance

Qualifications

⦁    Degree in management, marketing or closely related field
⦁    Min 10+ years of telco experience with focus marketing / Product 
⦁    Min 8 years of management experience leading teams 
⦁    Proven experience in leading and managing scrum teams for AGILE delivery
⦁    Min 5 + years of vendor and partner management 
⦁    Excellent communication skills – written and oral
⦁    Ability to lead, to innovate, set strategy and drive results
⦁    Thorough understanding of digital enablement across the telecom verticals – mobile and fixed 
⦁    Proficient in driving new business growth through partnerships 
⦁    Proficient in driving digital adoption and digital channels development
⦁    Aware of key industry trends , technologies in today global digital communication landscape
⦁    Strong coaching and team building experience, ability to drive interlock with reporting and non-reporting line team members 
⦁    Ability to mentor and coach the organization on change and transformation 
⦁    Core knowledge of telecoms products and services
