The Transformation & Products team ensures cross-functional alignment of business goals and technology delivery and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. The Transformation & Products team partners with the StarHub consumer, enterprise business organizations, and infrastructure operations. Its charter is to develop technology induction and migration strategies and new services rollout, facilitate cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic Industry partnerships and initiatives. As Transformation Architect (Mobile Network Operation), you will be a committed professional, exceptional in delivery in time with a measurable impact while balancing the strategic initiatives in realizing the vision of the "StarHub Autonomous Mobile Cloud Network". Through inclusive and empathetic discussion with Business, Operations, Engineering, and Supplier teams, you can quickly replicate the process across different project workstreams with the help of project coordinators.

Responsibilities:
- Develop transformation plans, roadmaps and execution strategies for StarHub’s mobile networks
- Formulate a strategy, plan, design and transform StarHub’s telco network infrastructure into a cloud native, software-enabled, intelligent network architecture that supports partial or fully-automated and data-driven operating model
- Develop a long-term technology blueprint to modernize StarHub’s networks
- Evaluate and identify areas of automation with clear architecture view and its evolution path
- Introduce best practices and build agile development mindset and capabilities within teams
- Provide strong leadership to drive network transformation program, including the management of processes, automation, best practices, documentations, in accordance with required security and ICT policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
- Coach/guide teams to jumpstart mobile-related software development with hands-on approach to engineering solutions around the platforms
- Develop highly collaborative teams and build a quality-centric environment
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for mobile networks and applications in conjunction with cloud computing, orchestration platforms, CI/CD pipeline and ML/AI.
- Provide guidance on best practices to internal teams including business propositions and solution mapping from product use case to technical network design perspectives
- Manage and influence business stakeholders in use case design and development
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with more than 10 years of experiences in designing, optimising and managing large scale telco, enterprise or cloud networks
- Deep understanding of telco network architectures, technologies, services, used in wireline and wireless operators
- Deep knowledge of mobile networks’ architecture, Ethernet and IP network protocols including Optical and Electrical Ethernet, TCP/IP v4 & v6, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, EVPN MPLS, VPLS, GRE, L2TPv3
- Expert knowledge of wireless protocols, including 3GPP LTE/5G, 802.11n/ac/ad/ay, microwave and mmWave, wireless spectrum and regulatory knowledge (cellular, CBRS), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), MIMO, Wavelength
- Ability to develop technology architecture, strategy, migration implementation plans, by working in a consultative manner with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to develop/create transition migration plan from conventional/ legacy to cloud native networks
- Experiences in operationalising the new architecture blueprints by working closely with operations teams
- Experiences in simulating, modelling traffic patterns, mitigating risks by developing and executing test plans
- Experiences in developing services and products by working with product managers and business teams
- Leverage on open source codes and influence specifications through active participation
- Advocate new architecture best practices and software methodologies on cloud delivery models based on the learning and deployment experiences
- Ability to mentor, coach and guide junior members of the team
- Ability to work with vendors, hyperscalers and 3rd party suppliers to drive consensus
