Job Purpose

 

You will lead the StarHub data strategy and build the data modelling, data design and data structure with a 360 view in mind. You will work with IT and the BU owners to define the principles of data program, governance and data definitions and architectural relationships of data. 
 

Responsibilites

 

A. Own the Product  Program Office
Continuously shape the product delivery function strategy in concert with the needs of Starhub product delivery teams
- Creates, documents and maintains DG policies and processes
- Provides support to BUs on data governance adoption
- Identifies learnings for future data governance implementations and ensure these as sustainable, changed ways of working
- Drives the change management initiatives (trainings, KTs etc.,) along with DG Lead across StarHub
- Develops the scheduled reports on the progress of data governance initiatives for DG Council and Executive Sponsor
- Creating and documenting the data definitions for StarHub’s data assets and attributes

B. Data Management
- Establishing and documenting the context of the content (data heritage and lineage)
- Providing a range of contextual understanding for an increasingly diverse range of data users, including trusted data for compliance,
internal controls, and better decision making
- Providing information that a technology professional might need for the physical implementation
- Identifying the business and architectural relationships between objects
- Certifying the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the content

C. People Management
- Manage partner resources and understand areas of weakness or growth
- Recruit, hire, and connect the team with the broader agile community
- Lead and inspire a team with diverse backgrounds, skills, and passions
- Manage multiple delivery teams and priorities across various business units 
- Supports the process for planning for the 6-quarter product strategy roadmap.
- Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the Portfolio team and stakeholders.

D. Vendor Management
- Work with multiple vendors for resource on-boarding, delivery management, support staff readiness to have an always on culture
- Manage the vendor contract and SLAs for resources 
- Manage vendor and partner resources 

Requirements

 

- Degree in IT / Management or related field with at least 8 years of experience, at least 5 years as a business analyst
- Strong business process management experience
- Broad data management process expertise
- Process expertise on multiple data domains
- Strong collaboration skills and industry domain knowledge
- Strong understanding of data 
- Possesses analytics and measurement knowledge required to define reporting needs, interpret data and translate into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts at various levels
