Job Description
The Sales Account Manager acts as a key point of contact between an organisation and its clients.
Responsibilities
- He/She possesses thorough product knowledge and oversees product and/or service sales.
- He works with customers to identify their wants and prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales information.
- He/She contacts existing customers to discuss and give recommendations on how specific products or services can meet their needs.
- He/She maintains customer relationships to strategically place new products and drive sales for long term growth.
- He/She is a resourceful, people-focused and persistent individual, who takes rejection as a personal challenge to succeed when given opportunity.
- He/She appreciates the value of long lasting relationships and prioritises efforts to build trust with existing and potential customers.
- He/She exhibits good listening skills and is able to establish rapport with customers and team members alike easily.
- He/She is expected to hunt for new business and prospects to ensure designated Order Book Targets are achieved and/or exceeded.
- He/She is expected to prospect, develop and expand client base for ICT, Managed Services, IoT and Telco Services.
- He/She will need to have relevant experience in Sales Account Planning, is expected to drive and ensure long term Customer Satisfaction and be a Team Player.
- Experience in Transportation, Logistics is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience in ICT, Telco or technical sales
- Self-driven, results-orientated, aggressive and energetic.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Sales, Negotiation and Presentation skills
