Position Description

The Product Systems Engineering Operations team provides Tier 3 support to manage day to day operations on the platforms the team administers. As Senior Associate / Product Systems Engineer, you are to manage, operate and support various application platforms delivering StarHub's innovative services to Enterprise customers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with StarHub Engineering, IS, Customer Experience Divisions and System Integrators to provide timely resolutions to customer issues.
• Perform systems health checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Support Customer Care (Tier 1) and Network Operations Centre (Tier 2) on customer issues reported with thorough investigation and resolution provided.
• Learn to identify root cause of customer issues by analyzing end to end traces or data of services.

Your Skills, Experience and Key Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably majoring in Telecommunication or Systems Engineering.
• 1-3 years in an Operation or Engineering role focused on Service Provider or telecommunication sectors.
• Linux, Windows Operating Systems knowledge.
• Exposures to VoIP, TCP/IP, SIP, Network Security, Voice and Fax Codecs, IoT, Database Structure.
• Willing to work as a team and share responsibilities where needed.
• Able to handle day to day tasks independently.
• Demonstrate adaptability with desire to learn new technical and non-technical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and positive.
