Job Description

To work with StarHub is a great opportunity if you love combining communication, technology, new thinking, business and customer experiences. We are looking for a Manager, Content who will be working in a team that’s responsible for StarHub’s Entertainment business.

You will work closely with the Head of Content to manage StarHub’s Content portfolio within the Consumer entertainment business.

Responsibilities:

• Perform as the key person responsible for all aspects of Content business, in relation both linear channels and OTT content
• Strategize overall content offering within StarHub’s TV+ packages
• Collaborate and negotiate with channel and OTT partners to provide content that drives viewership and subscription 
• Manage and secure necessary internal approvals for renewals and new acquisition
• Manage day-to-day programming matters as well as facilitate conversations on operational issues to ensure smooth transmission of channels 
• Analyze and prepare monthly performance review of key content properties
• Work with internal departments regarding content prioritisation/on-air prioritisation, press releases etc
• Work with marketing team to initiate marketing and promotional strategies
• Conduct competitive analyses and formulate relevant content strategies
   

Qualifications

• Degree in media or a closely related field, with at least 8 years of working experience
• Extensive experience within a content acquisition deal team, media strategy or channel management team
• Experience in industry with a track record of independently negotiating and closing rights/content agreements
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, within a tight time-frame
• Able to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail, and excellent organization skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be proactive and be a self-starter
