Job Description

Are you passionate about business growth?  Do you relish the challenge of independently managing the legal and compliance aspects of a fast-paced technology firm?  We are looking for someone who can advise the business and lead the development and management of legal and compliance program and ongoing regulatory strategy for Antina Pte.Ltd.  Antina Pte. Ltd. is a joint venture company of StarHub Mobile Pte Ltd and M1 Limited, which has been incorporated to develop, deploy, operate and maintain a 5G mobile network in Singapore.  

 

What can a successful candidate look forward to? 

  • Provide necessary legal and regulatory advisory support to the business and operational functions of Antina, including Network, Finance, Human Resource and Regulatory.
  • Contract review, drafting and negotiation for a variety of commercial, telecommunications infrastructure, real property and financing transactions (including tender documentation; procurement contracts; NDAs; lease/licence agreements; wholesale agreements; software/hardware support and maintenance agreements).
  • Provide legal advice and support to Management in developing and implementing policies and processes for Antina.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders within Antina to ensure compliance of internal policies, corporate governance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in LLB (Hons)
  • 3 to 5 years of PQE in any or a combination of the following areas of law: Commercial/ Corporate/ Telecommunications/ Information and Communication Technology / Intellectual Property law
  • Strong legal drafting and negotiating skills with ability to dive deep into the law, understand nuance and provide recommendations, even in the face of ambiguity
  • Willingness and flexibility to work on a variety of legal, compliance and regulatory matters
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and navigating stakeholders through complex legal and regulatory issues 
  • Exercise excellent judgment, coupled with a commercial mindset and provide practical solutions
  • Prior experience in engaging with regulatory agencies will be a plus
  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite
