Job Description

People management

Overseas and be responsible the activities of the media sales department, including goal setting, staffing, tracking, and motivating the team.

Stakeholders management and strategic partnership

Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, media partners and external stakeholders.
To establish strategic partnership with channel partners and other media partners to drive ad revenue growth.
Development of content channel partner collaboration and strategic ad revenue growth.
Partner with relevant internal stakeholders across different departments to drive overall business goal.  
  
Drive sales revenue, develop advertising strategies and media products 

To drive advertising revenue on TV, Premier League and across StarHub’s digital assets to achieve overall sales target.
Seek revenue enhancement opportunities towards achieving revenue target.  
Support sales and management with insights of the market trends, advertiser media buying preference and competition. 
Create high impact, innovative and ROI-driven promotions to drive integrated sponsorship properties packaging with TV, roadshow, digital and outdoor advertising. 
To review and approve media kits, collateral, and ad sales contracts.  
Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in the media industry and the competitive landscape.  
 
Cost Management: To maintain the department’s P&L and prepare management reports
To maintain financial controls, planned business operations and control expenses while identifying and pursuing opportunities to run business operations and boost profits.
To ensure the margin quota within the approval framework
To prepare the weekly and monthly management reports.  

Market Research and Analysis Support
To identify selling possibilities, evaluate customer needs, and discover new opportunities for growth. 
Lead and support in pre and post sales analysis to drive media sales
solutions to achieve sales target 
Streamlining research operations – maintain and improve on research service 
to support sales solutions on both TV and digital

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree  

Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a related role, client-facing account management experience in media advertising, experience with online media or digital advertising is a plus.
Has proven track record working in a sales environment. 
Excel at business development and driving new businesses.  
Understanding of Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing.
Proficient in Office 365, Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
Strong leadership.
