Job Purpose

As our customer becoming more ‘Digital’, this candidate will lead the transition towards more ‘Digital’ and take charge of the ecosystem by
1. Creating a sense of engagement amongst StarHubbers with digital tools for engagement
2. Driving integrated UX, Design language which will include UX and Design and delivering new age Digital Capabilities towards Digital Life.
3. Leading the strategy and support the decision making on new stack greenfield set up in IT across new digital stack


A. Own the Digital Capabilities strategy

Responsible for a comprehensive Digital Capabilities strategy. This includes:
• Opportunity review and analysis in areas of digital capabilities driving digital leadership for digital platforms strategy and digital enablement
• Lead the UX and DESIGN language and best practices set up
• Achieving leadership in CX and UX on Digital channels
• Drive engagement tools like digital enablers within the organization
• Key focus on new capability delivery
• Alignment with key stakeholders
• Achieving management buy in to the strategy
• Implementation of the agreed strategy

B. Commercialisation of the Digital Strategy

• Responsible to deliver outcomes for CX improvement through digital channels – quicker processing, RPA led experience for delivery, improved timelines.
• Responsible for the design, creation, development and marketing of new products which act on opportunities highlighted as part of opportunity assessments and agreed cross functionally
• Responsible for modifying existing products and services to ensure they remain relevant to customer’s requirements during its lifetime (Product Lifecycle Management)
• Responsible for retiring products when they reach the end of their relevant lifetime

C. Project Management & Risk Management

• Identify project obstacles (risks, issues and changes in scope) and support resolution / creation of mitigation plans

• Report on escalations and obstacles to management as part of the PMO management report

D. Coordination, Reporting and Governance

• Lead the Digital capabilities delivery roadmap
• Prepare project dashboard to management
• Develop ad-hoc project assessments and reviews
• Present progress reports to management

E. Partnerships

Responsible for the partnerships that contribute to each product or service within the portfolio. In particular:
• Partner led innovation driving strategic partnership
• Partner management and tracking of deliverables
• The partner relationship, in particular the contractual aspects


• Degree in business management / marketing / economics or related field with at least 10 years of experience preferably in telecommunications / digital
• 5 years’ experience in a digital domain management / product development position and vendor relationship management
• Significant knowledge of product development and lifecycle management
• Track record of defining successful strategic visions based upon competitive analysis
• Track record of project execution through driving high quality cross functional teams
• Ability to work effectively within related industries such as digital agencies, app development, utilities, banking and social media
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to manage all level of stakeholders
• Resilient and is adaptable in a dynamic environment
