Job Description

Business Partnering 

  • Finance business partner to Business Unit and manage one finance analyst in supporting of Business Unit
  • Support and review monthly closing activities
  • Provide timely and effective financial analyses, insights and recommendations to the business unit managers 
  • Review business cases, presentation materials, etc.
  • Support Business unit in quarterly forecast, Annual budget and preparation of 5-year projections
  • Provide support to adhoc operational requests from the Business Unit.

Group Reporting 

  • Review the work of the Accountant reporting financial results for the Group - including SGX report and other external reports
  • Perform detailed analysis of actual results against past trends and approved budgets, with close interaction with business partners and shared service teams
  • Review quarterly announcements, segment reports, annual reports and reports required by management
  • Analyze the quarterly forecasts of Group financials and identify key risk and opportunities in the forecasts submission
  • Lead discussions with the Business teams to understand QoQ variances in forecasts
  • Review the quarterly Audit Committee slides prepared by Accountant / Senior Accountant 
  • Assist in the preparation of 5-year projections and annual budget
  • Critically analyze budget submissions from the Business teams 
  • Lead discussions with the Business teams to understand the underlying budget assumptions 
  • Review materials prepared by Accountant for Board meetings
  • Any other duties and projects as assigned


  • Degree in Accountancy with minimum 6-7 years relevant working experience. 
  • At least 3-4 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with attention to details and accuracy while being able to provide crisp and clear summarized analysis.
  • Good communication with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to handle ambiguity and work independently.
  • Has tenacity and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and resilient.
  • Competent in PC applications e.g. Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP, ANAPLAN will be an advantage.
