Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business Intelligence Architect to join our dynamic Customer Lifecycle Department team in providing value to our customers through a better understanding of their unique lifestyles and preferences. 

You will be instrumental in implementing advanced data visualization and dashboarding technologies to provide the Consumer Business Group timely information and actionable insights.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the development, enhancement and maintenance of critical management dashboards and reports for the StarHub Consumer Business division
  • Design and develop analytical reports that are intuitive and insightful through creative data visualization
  • Implement Business Intelligence best-practices to increase user adoption of self-service reporting and data exploration
  • Sustainably improve business and marketing KPI tracking reports to meet evolving business needs and strategies
  • Integrate Machine Learning into user analytical reports to facilitate faster discovery of insights and root-cause analyses
  • Study data from new sources and develop ETL jobs to enrich customer 360 data marts with new data points
  • Perform exploratory data analyses to discover insights on consumer behaviour that can lead to new marketing initiatives and improvements 
  • Drive R&D to innovate and keep the organization’s analytics capabilities up-to-date

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in deriving business insights from complex datasets 
  • Proven track record in developing visually compelling charts and dashboards to surface and narrate actionable insights
  • Experience in at least one leading BI and data visualization tool such as Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI etc. 
  • Expert-level skill in data wrangling with large datasets with SQL and/or scripting languages such as Python 
  • Experience working with analytical tools such as SAS/SPSS
  • Practical data science experience is a plus 
  • Understanding of Big Data technologies and cloud platforms
  • Able to work and communicate effectively with stakeholders from both business and technical background
  • Responsible, resourceful and meticulous
