Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President for the Enterprise Business Group (EBG) to set up and lead the EBG 5G Enterprise & Collaboration product group. The Assistant Vice President will lead agile teams of product managers, architects, and engineers responsible for product incubation, development, life cycle management and go to market / operations. Responsibilities

  • Align, build, and lead all EBG 5G Enterprise & Collaboration product group operations to deliver agreed business/team goals and outcomes.
  • Formulate and sync product strategy, alongside with Product Leads, Team Leads and Sr Product Managers. 
  • Lead innovation and productization of 5G Enterprise and Collaboration products and services. 
  • Work with customers, sales, engineering, and operations to test, productise, digitise and scale 5G use cases.
  • Control department P&L and budget for product, GTM, and support operations.
  • Oversee and manage internal & external stakeholder communications.
  • Communicate vision, execution, and progress to key results on all active initiatives and developments.
  • Ensure product and incubation initiatives adhere to legal guidelines, regulations, and internal policies. 
  • Influence stakeholders to understand and appreciate the importance of the function.
  • Work with the VP of Product and Product Operations to design standardised tools, templates, and frameworks.
  • Evangelise and model agile product management practices and drive adoption of frameworks to make the product teams more effective in delivering customer and business outcomes.

 

A few things about you

  • Proven experience with end-to-end product management, leading teams, and delivering business outcomes.
  • Ability to create and communicate a vision on how to introduce a product and how a product will evolve.
  • Comfortable managing towards ambitious, challenging business goals and outcomes.
  • Ability to lead teams, including senior leaders, to implement Product Management practices and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to focus and prioritize is a must, along with a "roll-up-your-sleeves can-do" attitude.
  • A history of successful speaking engagements and industry influence is preferred.

 

Qualifications

  • +10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years at senior level.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience leading teams, with at least 3 years at equivalent level.
  • Experience bringing B2B software / technology services to market (from a Product, GTM, or Strategy perspective)
  • Experience in leading product innovation and execution across SBUs/divisions.
  • A strong understanding of Agile principles and practices. Experience with Scaled Agile/Design Thinking is a plus.
  • Tertiary degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or related fields.
